Last night, people went to the #Borderline with their friends to just have fun and sadly not everyone made it home because of senseless gun violence. Praying for the victims and their families 💛 #ThousandOaks— Britney Spears (@britneyspears) November 8, 2018
Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks was hosting its weekly College Country Night. At least 13 people dead, including a sheriff's sergeant and the gunman. Some of the attendees also went to the Route 91 Harvest country music festival in Las Vegas.
Tamera Mowry-Housley and Adam Housley's statement after learning their niece was among the #BorderlineShooting victims: "Alaina was an incredible young woman with so much life ahead of her and we are devastated that her life was cut short in this manner" https://t.co/oSVRXOTlx3 pic.twitter.com/3ZGoZuG2O1— Hollywood Reporter (@THR) November 8, 2018
Unfortunately Alaina Housely was one of the casualties.
Among the people at Borderline was Alaina Housely. Tia Mowry has not heard from her and is asking if anybody knows about Alaina's well being.
Heartbroken for all the families that will go through today without someone they had yesterday. Completely senseless #ThousandOaks— ChrisYoungMusic (@ChrisYoungMusic) November 8, 2018
Breaks my heart. Grew up a few miles from here. #ThousandOaks is the 4th safest city it US. 11 confirmed dead now. Here we go again. God bless those affected. We tweet those words far too often. https://t.co/Q5vWpCSkyi— Carson Daly (@CarsonDaly) November 8, 2018
