The ‘A Star Is Born’ soundtrack could debut at number one with more than 200k copies in it’s first week, not accounting for streams.
While final numbers are days away, the hit album looks to be coming in well ahead of hot releases from Twenty One Pilots and Eric Church https://t.co/jXQndFiSMs— Variety (@Variety) October 11, 2018
Official nunbers won’t be announced until Sunday. If the predictions hold up, ‘A Star Is Born’ would be the biggest week in pure album sales for the soundtrack to a movie musical since 2014’s ‘Frozen.’
Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s song “Shallow” is being sent to radio next week. Since it’s release, the song has not dropped from the no. 1 spot on the US iTunes Charts. Gaga has also taken over the top 5 of the US iTunes Charts with “Shallow,” “Always Remember Us This Way, “I’ll Never Love Again” and “Is That Alright?”
