Armie Hammer teases the sequel to 'Call Me by Your Name', possible Dakota Johnson casting, more

Armie Hammer, while promoting 'Hotel Mumbai' on Saturday, teased the upcoming sequel to 'Call Me by Your Name', which he said is definitely happening because those involved - including director Luca Guadagnino - are well into working on it. Hammer himself is 1000% gung-ho to get back to do the series again, which he said was the most immersive and enjoyable production experience he's had.

When the reporter mentioned they heard Dakota Johnson would play Oliver's wife in the sequel, Hammer smiled though brushed it off. Johnson stars in Guadagnino's upcoming 'Suspiria', and the two have done previous projects before.

Hammer: “How much do I know and how much could I tell you are two very different things. I know a lot, but I can’t tell you anything. More than anything I trust the artistic direction to Luca and [novelist] André Aciman and to those guys who did such a good job handling it the first time around. The only thing I want to see is I want to see it happen. I want to do it again.”
