Chris Pratt thanks God in 2018 Teen Choice Awards acceptance speech: “I love him & you should too!”

When Chris Pratt isn't erecting a giant cross for Easter, wearing t-shirts that read Jesus Loves You to the gym, or telling MTV Movie & TV Awards audiences that God is Real, Pratt is telling teens that they too should love God. The Jurassic World actor won the highly coveted Teen Choice Summer Movie Actors award alongside his Jurassic World co-star Bryce Dallas Howard.

During his speech Pratt said: “I'm so thrilled to be here. I have not been a teen for quite sometime. [Someone shouts I love you in the audience] I love you too! I'm so thankful to be here. Thank you so much, this means a lot to me. I know Bryce and I both have so much fun being apart of the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World franchise. [We] make those movies just for you, I'm so glad you like them. I want to thank God, I always do that when I'm up on a big platform in front of bunch of young faces I say 'I love God,' that's my thing, I love him and you should too! And uh, yeah, and I really love my co-star Bryce. I wish so badly that she could be here right now. She's in London working, I know she would love to be here.”

His co-star Bryce Dallas Howard then appeared behind him on the screen via Skype to thank fans and compliment working with Pratt.

In other related news, Fifth Harmony's breakout artist Ally Brooke Hernandez was interviewed on the pink carpet at the Teen Choice Awards and was asked which celebrity at the show she was most eager to get a selfie with. She answered Chris Pratt because according to the Perfect singer, “he's just awesome and he loves God.” The highly skilled dancer also added that she would like to meet Zac Efron because she had yet to meet him.

No word yet if Pratt and Brooke will be co-starring in a Saved! sequel alongside Mandy Moore with a cameo from Amanda Bynes and her character from Easy A.
