Forbes calls out Nicki Minaj: 'Queen' Rollout Reeks Of Desperation And Hypocrisy

Forbes wrote a scathing piece on Nicki Minaj's antics this year, calling out her blatant hypocrisy and desperation as she prepares to roll out her 4th studio album 'Queen'.

- Argues that 6ix9ine collab “FEFE” only exists because Minaj needed a shameless attempt to stay relevant. ("it’s embarrassing and revolting to watch Minaj squander her talents alongside a one-note rapper who pled guilty to the use of a child in a sexual performance.")

- Calls out Minaj for shaming sex workers in Elle Magazine earlier this month, despite blatantly selling sex appeal in her own music and imagery.

- Addresses the hypocrisy of Minaj crying about Cardi B hurting her feelings on radio, then proceeding to insult and have her fans harass a journalist on twitter for a mostly benign criticism of the rapper. ("Minaj likes to tout feminist ideals and play the victim when it fits her narrative, but she resorts to petty bullying tactics upon receiving the slightest criticism.")

- Notes Minaj feels pressured to keep up with a changing industry and new competition in a younger rival (Cardi B), especially after her chart-chasing Ariana Grande collaborations failed to gain any traction.
