The Walking Dead casts Tony nominee Lauren Ridloff for season 9



Lauren Ridloff, who is deaf and was nominated for a 2018 Tony in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play, will be joining the show for a multi-episode arc as Connie.

Her character is deaf and uses American Sign Language (ASL) to communicate.
Connie has been described as “a seasoned survivor deft at using her senses to read people, situations, and trouble."
