Fresh off its four Emmy nominations Netflix announced today that it's renewing Queer Eye and the Fab Five for a third season of the hit show. Queer Eye originally ran for five seasons on Bravo from 2003 until 2007. Netflix revived the show with five new leads this year and it proved to be a huge success for the streaming service. While the first two seasons were based in Atlanta, GA — the show’s third outing will see the Fab Five in Kansas City, MO.
The third season will consist of 10-episodes and production is expected to begin on July 16th. All five members — Bobby Berk (interior design), Jonathan Van Ness (grooming) Karamo Brown (culture), Tan France (fashion) and Antoni Porowski (avocados and just looking pretty) — will be returning for season three.
The new season will hit Netflix sometime in 2019.
