Lena Headey, Kim Cattrall, Noma Dumezweni & More Star in Short Film For World Refugee Day

-Involves Lena Headey and Indira Varma (GOT), Noma Dumezweni (HP: Cursed Child), Jamael Westman (Alexander Hamilton in Hamilton West End), Kim Cattrall (Sex and the City), Alfred Enoch (HTGAWM) and more, including refugees from Syria, Sierra Leone and South Sudan.
-Performance of a 400 year old previously banned speech attributed to Shakespeare and others in a collaborative 16th-century play based on Sir Thomas More, called "The Stranger’s Case", about Thomas More trying to quell anti-immigrant rioting by an appeal to common humanity
-Commissioned by the charity International Rescue Committee (IRC), in collaboration with Shakespeare’s Globe in London (where the short film is set) to mark World Refugee Day (today, June 20th).
-Alfred Enoch, known from Harry Potter and How To Get Away With Murder, said: "To find a 400-year-old text speaking so eloquently to the challenges facing our society in this day and age is a testament to the universal power and humanity of Shakespeare’s writing [...] it’s also an urgent reminder of our collective responsibility to change our world for the better."

Felt as a humanitarian plea this was particularly poignant considering all going on at the US border right now - we have more in common than that which divides us :(
