Holy Conglomarate, Mr. Fantastic!
Fox accepts Disney's deal, leaving Comcast cold, and the government to sort out the deal going forward. The assets include Fox's film and TV division (Including FX and their love of playing shit superhero movies), Sky PLC and Star India, and 1/3rd of stock in Hulu. Following this deal, Fox shareholders would own 19% of Disney.
The Fox shareholder meeting, originally scheduled for July 10, has been postponed.
Are you happy that you can have the Fantastic Four in the MCU at the cost of a growing media monopoly who, by some weird way, is better than Comcast owning Fox's assets?
Do you wish some of this money went to giving park workers a living wage?
