Moulin Rouge! the Musical: Come What May (3rd)

Moulin Rouge! the Musical dropped a clip of star Aaron Tveit (Christian) singing the iconic "Come What May." A full music video for the song is coming tomorrow, May 3.

Aaron posted a different clip of "Come What May" last month when he announced his participation in the show on his Instagram page.

"Come What May" was composed by David Baerwald and Kevin Gilbert. It's named for a section of Shakespeare's Macbeth:

If chance will have me king, why, chance may crown me
Without my stir. [...] Come what come may,
Time and the hour runs through the roughest day.

The song was nominated for a 2002 Best Original Song - Motion Picture Golden Globe Award in 2002, losing out to Sting's "Until" from Kate and Leopold. It wasn't eligible for a Best Song Academy Award because it was originally written for a different film, William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet.

The song has been covered many times, including by Kelly Clarkson/Jason Farol on Duets and Darren Criss/Chris Colfer on Glee.

Are you ready for Tveit (to do it nice and slow), ONTD?
