The first details about Damien Chazelle’s Neil Armstrong biopic sound incredible: “If your heart rate doesn’t go through the roof, if you’re not gripping the edge of your seat the entire times, I’ll be shocked.” https://t.co/lKEAlT9ErP pic.twitter.com/tayhjPrMWE— IndieWire (@IndieWire) April 16, 2018
Josh Singer, the Oscar-winning screenwriter of 'Spotlight', shed a few details about the upcoming Neil Armstrong biopic 'First Man'.
Singer said director Damien Chazelle wanted this to be beyond some historic drama, and is going to be more of a edge-of-your-seat action thriller. Says Singer:
“We have at least five major set pieces that are action, and if your heart rate doesn’t go through the roof, if you’re not gripping the edge of your seat the entire times, I’ll be shocked.”
'First Man' stars Ryan Gosling as Neil Armstrong, along with Claire Foy, Corey Stoll, Kyle Chandler, and Jason Clarke, and will be released this October just in the midst of Oscars season.
