Jesse Hughes, frontman and guitarrist of Eagles of Death Metal, posted a tirade on his instagram page denoucing the March for Our Lives and the activism of Parkland students. Choice claims include that the students are "denigrating" the memories of their classmates and exploiting their experience as survivors for "a few Facebook likes and some media attention".
He's also claimed that the shooting at the Bataclan during the Paris terror attacks was "an inside job".
He has since deleted the original post (and his subsequent faux-pology), but screenshots never die (with bonus misogyny!):
Good morning Jesse Hughes from Eagles of Death Metal is trash. pic.twitter.com/vCj9zi5hu8— (((Alex 🌹Chilton))) (@girliesogroovy) March 26, 2018
(Mods, I think the embedding is fixed - it's previewing ok this time. Sorry for the confusion!)
