-Albert Hammond Jr. has finally spoken up about Lizzy Goodman's book, Meet Me in the Bathroom: Rebirth and Rock and Roll in New York City 2001-2011, which came out last year
-The book discusses The Strokes' friendship/feud with Ryan Adams, who was said to be a bad influence on Hammond
-Hammond now says “The media has fun creating their own stories.”
-Says three or four days of his life was made to seem like 10 years because the author had the story they wanted to tell
-When asked when the next Strokes album will happen, he said he'd rather speak as a band than as him alone, so in the meantime he is just talking about his solo stuff
