Viacom paused paused programming on their networks, which include MTV, VH1 and Nickelodeon, for 17 minutes at 10 AM in solidarity with today's school walkout.
They plan on providing coverage on their networks of the March for Our Lives rally on March 24th and the Vice Chairwoman of Viacom is donating $500,000 to the march.
Viacom is standing with all students as they participate in the #NationalSchoolWalkout against Gun Violence. From 10:00-10:17am, our networks will be going dark in solidarity to support the reach and impact of their activism.
