Stemming from what was probably the best thing about this year's Oscars - Frances McDormand's exclamation for all in the industry to have an Inclusion Rider - Matt Damon and Ben Affleck (and their fellow producers) said they will put the rider clause in all of their contracts going forward, via their production company Pearl Street.
This was announced by Fanshen Cox DiGiovanni, Head of Strategic Outreach at Pearl Street Films, at SXSW this week. She said: “Thank you for always supporting broader representation in the industry. On behalf of Pearl Street Films, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Todd, Drew Vinton & I will be adopting the #InclusionRider for all of our projects moving forward.”
Other celebs who will adopt the inclusion rider clause since the Oscars include Michael B. Jordan and Brie Larson.
