■ Taylor Hickson received 70 stitches in her face after suffering a severe laceration while filming the upcoming horror film Ghostland in December of 2016
■ During a scene, she was instructed to pound on the glass pane of a door: “after being asked to increase the strength with which [she] pounded on the glass, [she] asked one of the producers and the director if it was safe to do so. That producer and the director both replied in the affirmative.”
■ The glass shattered and she fell through it face-first. According to Hickson, the crafts services lady had to hold her face together with napkins: “She went through so many napkins, there was so much blood.”
■ Hickson is seeking damages for physical and emotion distress. The suit also reads, “as a result of the injury, she has lost income [during] the period of time she was unable to act while she recovered.”
■ Ironically, the production company is called Incident Productions, and the film's poster features the broken and slashed image of a young woman’s face. (wtf)
A NSFW/NSFL photo of her face after the injury can be seen at the source.
