Before passing away, a queen tells her husband that he cannot remarry unless the new wife equals her beauty and other attributes. So, the king mourns and eventually decides to marry his daughter, in order to further the royal line.
[Read more]The daughter is adamant against marrying her father. She asks her fairy godmother for advice. The fairy godmother tells her to make ridiculous demands to change her father's mind. This includes asking for three dresses - one the color of the sun, one the color of the moon, and one the color of the sky - and the skinning of a donkey that magically defecated gold.
The king had no qualms with skinning the donkey, and the dresses were easy to produce. The daughter decided to run away, using the donkey's skin as cover. She hid out in a bakery in the meantime.
A handsome prince noticed the beautiful princess in the bakery. The princess baked one of her rings into a cake, which the prince started to eat. After finding the ring, he declared he would marry whomever the ring fit.
The princess slips the ring on, confirming she is the owner. In the end, the father gives up his quest to marry his daughter, and the princess marries the handsome prince. [ x ]

I'm so emotionally exhausted and I just want to take a long nap but I have an interview later today that I'm super nervous for. They don't even have any open positions but I'm really hoping they'll be able to give me freelance work.
