Some Academy Voters are - Perhaps Unsurprisingly - Ignoring 'Get Out' Without Even Watching The Film

From one of the many interviews with anonymous younger people who are now a part of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, one points out the generational differences.

“I had multiple conversations with longtime Academy members who were like, ‘that was not an Oscar film,’ and I’m like, ‘that’s bullshit. Watch it.’ Honestly, a few of them had not even seen it and they were saying it, so dispelling that kind of thing has been super important.”

Surprisingly, the older voters do not seem to have mentioned the phrase "white guilt".

Do you think "Get Out" is an ""Oscar Film""? What makes an ""Oscar Film""?
