'Get Out', 'Call Me by Your Name' win top awards at Writers Guild of America gala




This year's Writers Guild of America awards were given out, with Jordan Peele's 'Get Out' winning Original Screenplay, and James Ivory's 'Call Me by Your Name' receiving Adapted Screenplay. Since the Writers Guild and Academy's writers branch overlap a ton, this is a good indication of who'll win the two screenwriting awards on March 4th's Oscars.
