Eagles Malcolm Jenkins and 2 Other Players Will Not Visit White House With Team

Philadelphia Eagles safety, Malcolm Jenkins will sit out on the Eagles White House visit, for obvious reasons.

- Started the players coalition to engage athletes across America to work on taking social justice issues to capitol hill
- Spoke to legislators about criminal justice reform twice at capitol hill, wants to move past protests and divisiveness and get to solutions
- On the BLM movement and his research on both sides of issue. People speak from their own experiences only and not taking into account both ends. "You can support the police and also want accountability." He personally spoke to some police and was asking them what they need, what they're going through, how it is going out in the neighborhoods etc. because he wants to understand the problem to find a solution to the issue. Calls it a holistic approach.
- Will not go to White House with team, is not interested in the photo OP that the visit is, he wants to meet with representatives and talk about change

Edit: defensive end Chris Long and wide receiver Torrey Smith will also not attend.
