It's not a bandaid fix when some of the money that's going to him could otherwise be going to the actresses in movies with him. The solution isn't to throw more money at actors and actresses, it's to divide the budget more equitably.

How about pay the women more. Pay them what they've been paying the men.

If actors take a pay cut to make it equal then all it means is that some white male studio head is gonna take that money instead. It doesn't really fix anything. Because we all know the studio isn't taking that money and giving it to an actress.

Yeah, Liam may have said it for selfish reasons, but why should male actors take a pay cut? Women should just be paid more and valued equally. To me, it's like... lowering the bar rather than lifting them up.
