- Tonya Harding, ex-skater and star of Tru TV's "World's Dumbest", is currently riding that publicity tour for I, Tonya.
- She sat down with Amy Robach to discuss the infamous 1994 attack and controversy that ensued. She stated "I knew something was up." and that she felt like she was being used as a pawn. She says she never asked ex-husband Jeff Gillooly to go through with the plot to attack Nancy. Gillooly however, claims the opposite
as does most of America.
- She also has not spoken to her mother Lavona since 2002. They are estranged, and Lavona recently admitted she hates that Allison Janney is portraying her, she has no plans on seeing the film, and she just wants to see her grandchild.
