* Meeting lasted 90 minutes, during which DiCaprio presented Trump with a copy of his documentary Before The Flood. Ivanka had also recieved a copy.

* Trump was receptive and suggested another meeting in a month's time.

it's worth a shot, tbh. in the full NYT transcript, Trump said maybe climate change exists, maybe it doesn't. if lots of people nudge him in the right direction, maybe something will come of it. apathy will do nothing.

I'd enlist ONTD to help me do research so I could bring the #receipts on how whatever issue would be good for workers/the economy since that's all he really cares about.

I don't want to be in his presence... but uuuugh, it's probably worth a shot to try to convince him to do something about climate change??

Nope. I don't know how these people can do it. I wouldn't want anything to do with him. My ass would be on the low road.

The eternal optimist in me would feel like I had to at least try, but my internal monologue would just be "FUCK YOU" repeating over and over again the whole time.

He seems really easy to manipulate so yes.

I despise him, but he needs to be educated in any way that he will accept it. So yeah, I'd meet with him. And then go vomit.

I misread that as "Would you meet with Trump regarding ONTD policy?" and was like, YES, A THOUSAND TIMES YES. Because there is just so much potential for hilarity.

But seriously, if given the opportunity, the hopeless optimist in me would try. And then I'd go home and scream.
