Burke Ramsey to sue CBS for implying he murdered his sister in their JonBenet special

According to multiple sources Burke Ramsey, the older brother of murdered JonBenet Ramsey, is furious over CBS recent two part special and is planning to sue the network. Over the course of the two episodes a team of forensic specialists re-examined the evidence from the 1996 case and proposed the theory that a then almost ten year old Burke accidentally killed six year old JonBenet after striking her with a flashlight (possibly after a squabble over some pineapple) and that Patsy and John Ramsey staged the kidnapping out of fear of what would happen to Burke.

Burke's lawyer has claimed that these accusations will now affect his quality of life until the day that he dies.

"CBS doesn't have enough money to compensate this man for the permanent damage they have caused this man's reputation that he has to live with for the rest of his life," lawyer Lin Wood told E!. "When I am done with CBS, the verdict from the Hulk Hogan vs. Gawker case is going to look like peanuts."

He also claimed that the experts hired by CBS, who are stated to be the some top researches in their field, aren't credible (calling them "experts") and that the Boulder Police are essentially better and know the real evidence. He went on to say that he will be facing them in court of law like he did when Star Magazine previously accused Burke of murder 15 years ago.

The CBS special contained disclaimers that the special was highlighting possible scenarios and was not making out and out accusations. The network has also claimed that they "[stand] by the broadcast and will do so in court".

Other sources are claiming that if this goes to court it could essentially become the de facto murder trial.
