VMA Exec Producer Talks Britney + "Glory" Reviews

With days before the official release of "Glory" and Britney's return to the VMA stage for the first time since 07's iconic "Gimme More" performance, there's lots of speculation buzzing around the web of what to expect.

-“It’s going to be something you’ve not seen her do before." sing live? "It’s going to separate her from other performances.” oh nevermind, hmm

-“It’s amazing [to have her back],” he says. “To have her in such great form with a huge hit, she’s super relevant and current—I think the young people watching MTV now are as connected to her as they were back in the TRL days.” lolololol

-Slant magazine gives "Glory" a 70 (3.5 out of 5 stars)

-Ties with Beyonce's "Lemonade"

-Highest rated Britney album to date (Blackout 60, Circus 60, Femme Fatale 60, Bethany Joan 50)

-Starts how Britney was "absent" from her last several projects, both mentally and physically

-Says with genuine surprise and great pleasure that Glory is ha best work since Blackout or ITZ depending on who you ask

-Throughout, Spears sounds more present, more engaged, and more involved than she has since In the Zone.
