The Miami-Dade Medical Examiner has officially ruled former Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync manager Lou Pearlman's death as natural causes.
As many had suspected Pearlman, who had a history of cardiac problems, died due to issues with his heart. Prior to his death he had been transferred to the hospital where he was set to have heart surgery. He had also previously had a stroke while in prison.
While no charges were ever filed, over the years there had also been considerable talk of sexual misconduct and abuse at the hands of Pearlman. He was serving 25 years for running one of the longest Ponzi schemes in history at the time of his death.
