While promoting her new role in House of Cards, the iconic Scream Queen of the 90's, Neve Campbell, is often asked about her roles in The Craft, Scream and TV's Party of Five.
Campbell says that she's happy the slasher film craze is over, stating, "I felt I was being forced into being something I wasn’t – all the time." Campbell is referring to her title as a Scream Queen, for which she is still being inundated by horror film offers. Still, she would consider the possibility of returning as Sidney for another Scream film.
After the death of legendary director, Wes Craven, Campbell says she would have to do some soul searching if ever to return to the Scream franchise and the new film would have to be something fresh and special.
Campbell is excited to see the remake of The Craft, but basically agrees with Fairuza Balk's sentiment that Hollywood should get some original ideas.
When asked about a reboot of television shows, Campbell doesn't like the idea of a reboot of Part of Five and says it just wouldn't make any sense.
