FKA twigs and dancer Kaner Flex partner up with Calvin Klein to create an artistic video. Twigs and Kaner perform an interpretive dance both dressing and undressing each other. Shot in black and white on a minimalist set design, they move to the singer's latest single, "Good to Love". This is another joint project that twigs has done with a major company during her career. The first being google in 2014, which she spoke about not wanting have anything to do with them in the beginning...
"Google approached me, and they asked me to make this advert for Google Glass. My first reaction was 'no'. I was like, 'Why would I do that? That's ridiculous', And then they asked again, but then I still said, "No, stop hitting me up... this is awkward'. And then they asked again, and I was like 'Okay, maybe I'm setting barriers for myself, because I'm sitting here, living in East London, signed to a cool label, Young Turks, with all my cool friends wearing cool clothes, and maybe I just need to branch out of that and work with a corporation – a company that's essentially one of the biggest organizations in the world.'"
-FKA twigs Dazed interview
FKA twigs is known for taking the lead in directing and these two projects were directed by her. So as you can imagine, dancing plays a very important part in her vision for both the CK and Google videos.
I don't know if its necessary to state I typed up everything myself expect for her quote. Thanks mods for your patience.
Edit: I forgot to add that this version of "Good to Love" is different than the official video she released!
