-Warner and Sony have been telling Tidal that they want "huge advances" in exchange for rights to stream their artists' music. Apparently a deal with Warner has been made but not with Sony.
-Tidal was counting on Sprint to pay these requests for royalties, but Sprint says that it made no financial investment in Tidal.
-If Tidal doesn't pay Sony up, all of Sony's artists will be stripped from Tidal including Beyoncé!
-An analyst who spoke to Bloomberg expects that most of Tidal's 900,000 subscribers will ditch the service when their free trial is over.

Anyway I feel like Tidal like all business needs to grow and I support indie artists cutting out the middleman however once again, it's clear that the business has made a mistake in focusing on rich folk first
