I mean, let's also remember the fact that Jamie has helped people from awful situations and bad walks of life. I feel like his do-gooder ~give everyone a second chance~ ideal got the best of him
it's not. but channel 4 did a whole night of comedy (if you can call it that), parodies, talk shows, etc, which were spliced together with videos about cancer victims/survivors. it was basically a telecast to try and raise a lot of money. for example, they had a segment where naomi campbell, kate moss and noel gallagher joined the 'cast' of gogglebox, etc.
What do you want her to do? It was a charity event, so it's not like she could cancel last minute without looking like a bitch, and it was probably too late to change what they planned.

and even if it wasn't, was she really supposed to cancel on a cancer benefit? she would've gotten way more shit for that
