RIP Richard.

I can only hope that my siblings and I all live as long as the Attenborough brothers did/are(David is still alive obviously).

David is one of those celebrities who had bloody well better be immortal because Britain will probably go into mourning en masse when he goes.

I find it so jarring when there's a nature documentary on tv and he's not narrating it.

This is so sad to hear. Rest in Peace, Richard.

Hapy to see that he lived such a long and wonderful life.

90's good innings and he had a very interesting life.

I do have to say that if my sister made me watch Miracle on 34th Street once, she made me watch it a million times. Dear god I loathed that film by the time she grew out of it.

I don't think I'll ever be ready to have lost them both, even though I know it can't be much longer.
vanishingbee 24th-Aug-2014 09:53 pm (UTC)
Right? I still check David's wikipedia page to see if he's done another documentary recently, because I've never seen a single presentation from him I didn't love.

People who actually deserve the description are very rare, but they truly do. I don't know a single person who ever admitted to disliking an Attenborough.

If anyone hasn't seen it watch Brighton Rock, he's incredible.

I know he was 90 and all, so it's not that surprising, but it still makes me sad. Jurassic Park is probably my favorite franchise ever.
