Nick and Drew Lachey have a plan to get back on your TV: Open a giant sports bar in Over-the-Rhine, and let the A&E Network film them doing it.A&E Network announced the series, "Lachey's Bar" (that's the working title), Monday.Production begins immediately on 10 half-hour episodes; in fact, CVG tweeted this afternoon that the duo had filmed there Monday.
The series is slated to premiere in 2015.A&E's press release about the show notes: "Despite their lack of knowledge about running a business, these determined brothers are ready to roll up their sleeves and learn the ins and outs of running a place where everybody knows your name. Unfortunately, drinking experience doesn't necessarily translate into drink-making experience… but they're ready to learn."Luckily, they'll have some help in that regard. Bob Deck, co-founder of hospitality group 4EG (Four Entertainment Group), told The Enquirer exclusively that the group will partner with the Lachey brothers on the new sports bar, lounge and full-service restaurant.
Tentatively named "Lachey's Bar," it will be at 1201 Walnut St. in Over-the-Rhine and should open in November."It has been a long-time dream to create our own special place in Cincinnati to eat, drink and spend time with our friends, family and neighbors," Nick Lachey said in a press release. "Partnering with 4EG was an organic fit as we have long been fans of their restaurants and bars in the area. Their expertise in managing and developing new restaurant concepts is second to none."
