Fans were delighted on Thursday evening after musical powerhouses Eminem and Rihanna kicked off the first night of their month-long Monster Tour at the Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena, California.
Eminem, 41, and Rihanna, 26, delivered an energetic sold out set, treating the audience to a collection of their collaborative hits and solo tunes.
Perhaps the most notable face in the crowd was Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty. In the past the father and daughter having a turbulent relationship but the pair have buried the hatchet and a proud Robin watched on lovingly as his superstar child performed alongside the legendary rapper.
She previously spoke out to say now her father is teetotal their relationship is on the mend: 'It’s fair to say I had a few humps and bumps along the way while growing up. But I think every child growing up goes through some sort of upheaval and perhaps mine was a bit worse.'
'At the end of the day, I don’t think about it any more and it doesn't make me angry,' she added.
The Barbadian beauty showed off her incredible abs in a sheer crop-top and black bra which she teamed with fire-print tracksuit trousers and chunky white trainers.
She opted for moody and dramatic make-up with a dark maroon lip and smoky eyes, while her hair was worn out with a tousled curl.
Rapper Eminem kept things casual in a basic black T-shirt, cargo print shorts, trainers and a black cap.
The pair have been busy rehearsing for their three city joint tour, which sees them perform two consecutive dates at in Pasadena before moving on to New Jersey and the rapper's native Detroit.
On Tuesday the father-of-one shared a backstage photo of him and the Stay hitmaker with the caption: ‘Final rehearsals for tour with @rihanna ..see you soon in Pasadena.’
The duo have recently collaborated on hits Monster and Love The Way You Lie which both made the number one spot in the U.S.
'I thought it would be a good idea to have her on it because I think people look at us like we’re both a little nuts,' the 41-year-old rapper told MTV News earlier this year about inviting Rihanna to sing on the track.
'That’s one of the things that I was telling her in making the record,' he added. 'I think that people look at us a little crazy.
'As soon as I got the beat I just heard her on it. I wanted to make sure that I had it finished first to be able to present to her, but once I had the rhymes done, I sent it to her.'
'I had to send it to her because schedules were conflicting and s** like that. Plus, the record it was kinda pulled together at the last minute. I sent it to her, she laid the hook, sent it back. She smashed it like she does always. It’s pretty incredible,' he added.
Stars were out in force to watch the show with Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima dazzling in a cropped white jacket, a black blouse, flared jeans and a pair of Christian Louboutin pumps.
Keeping Up With The Kardashian sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner looked ready for a good time and Kylie made sure the hip-hop crowd knew her family connections - wearing a jumper emblazoned with the face of her brother-in-law Kanye West upon it.
While model Kendall went for a more demure look with a black polo neck, jeans and grey platform boots.
Meanwhile newly engaged David Arquette, 42, channelled his inner rap god in a white shirt with the words West Coast adorned on the back.
