Disclosure performs on Jimmy Kimmel + talks about new album.

Just yesterday, UK sensation Disclosure landed on late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel’s live stage in the middle of Hollywood to perform their certified platinum hit, “Latch.” The recognized tune featured a live performance from vocalist Sam Smith, a British singer still hot from the release of his own celebrated album, In the Lonely Hour. The powerhouse trio paid homage to the track that, to many, placed both acts on the pop music map and was the first fuel to the fire that blasted them forward in their careers.

Less than two months out from celebrating Settle‘s first birthday, the duo told Radio.com that as of September, Disclosure will follow plans to head into the studio for their sophomore album… but preparation for the record has already begun. “We’ve been writing [music] for the last few months,” Guy explains. Although the two seem to be accumulating enough music to release a new album at any moment, he continues to clarify that time in the studio has become more of experimental play time. “Because we’re not writing for a particular release, we’ve just been having fun experimenting with different sounds,” Howard further elucidates. “Naturally, a [new sound] might happen, but we won’t stray anywhere too far from the first album. We still feel like we have a lot to give.”
