Russell Brand Analyzes a Fox News Debate About Israel-Palestine

After weeks of using his YouTube show “The Trews” to go after Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly, someone has apparently introduced Russell Brand to Sean Hannity. In the latest installment, Brand systematically takes down a recent “debate” on Hannity about the Israel-Palestine conflict, demonstrating where the host’s biases not-so-subtly seep into the arguments he’s making about the issue.

Before Brand gets the substance of Hannity’s segment, he takes some time to weigh in on his appearance: “He does look a bit like the Ken doll from the Toy Story 3 film.” He also immediately calls the host “childish” for saying Hamas “started” the conflict with Israel.

The rest of the video mostly consists of a history and politics lesson from Brand for Hannity, who the comedian clearly thinks needs to use a bit more context in his arguments. “He’s not interested in truth,” Brand says of the host. He’s “only interested in pushing a particular perspective.”
