In this video released by the band on Friday, the boys reveal that as part of a promotional prank, they dressed up as Target employees at an undisclosed location and tried selling their new album to people who had no idea who they were!
The Australian band’s self-titled debut album finally made its anticipated debut on Tuesday in the United States and as a special promotion at Target stores, the national chain is exclusively selling four different versions of the CD album cover at their stores.
The hilarious and cringeworthy video shows Michael, Luke, Calum and Ashton approaching random customers with copies of their CDs in hand and in some cases, dropping their CDs randomly in people’s baskets!
It’s unfortunate that the customers’ faces have been blurred out, as we would’ve loved to have seen their reactions. We also would’ve loved to have seen how they would’ve reacted had they found out that they had just been approached by one of music’s hottest acts right now.
Don't forget to buy their new album out on iTunes, NOW!
