Eric Prydz To Release 4-Track EP Under Another Alias

“Coming soon” is a small, simple phrase that sends chills up the spine of every Eric Prydz fanatic. With the Swede having just come off the first of two weekends at Tomorrowland – where he performed a three-hour set to open the festival’s massive mainstage – there’s even more to come from the DJ and producer as he prepares for his next label release.

Prydz shared two teasers of the forthcoming PRYDA release on the weekend, both of which contain snippets of the upcoming record as well as the four track titles: Mija, Origins, Backdraft and Axis, which will do fans a big favour in replacing many of the dreaded tracklist IDs that tease fans for years on end.

That said, there’s currently no word as to when Pryda 028 will see an official release – just that it’s “mastered and ready for action” – but the video previews also serve to remind us of Eric Prydz’s anticipated performance later this year at Madison Square Garden, where he’ll debut his all-new EPIC 3.0 live show, which is said to be the “largest in-door hologram in the world,” and easily the biggest show thus far in his long-running career. Check out the two previews below.
