Taylor Swift takes a long time to perfect her hair, outfit and beauty routine for the paparazzi

Even after a trip to the gym, pop princess primps post-workout, spy says

Taylor Swift's daily treat to her adoring public, in which she appears to effortlessly sashay down a New York City sidewalk like an impeccably outfitted runway model, is a carefully crafted move on the singer’s part. And her look — hair, outfit and beauty routine — takes a long time to perfect, Confidenti@l has learned.

Swift, who snapped up two adjacent lofts in Tribeca in March for $20 million from “Lord of the Rings” director Peter Jackson, was a paparazzi darling the second she arrived in town. The songstress takes full advantage of the attention, highlighting her clothes, bags, legs and red lips as she is snapped daily, often coming from a workout at Model Fit gym on Bowery.

A spy tells us how she looks picture perfect even after her grueling workouts, which she was introduced to by her model BFF Karlie Kloss.

“She spends an hour in the locker room post-workout so she can look flawless for the photographers who follow her,” a gym insider spilled. “Karlie turned her on to this gym a few months ago, and when Taylor’s in New York, she goes daily.”

Our gym insider also revealed Swift comes every afternoon, at the same time each day.

The gym, also open to the public by appointment, sits behind an inconspicuous door on the second floor of a building where controversial fashion photographer Terry Richardson housed a studio for more than 15 years before moving to a bigger space nearby.

Swift, who lately has looked longer and leaner, is being trained by Justin Gelband, who tones the bodies of many Victoria’s Secret mannequins, including Anne V.

Perhaps Swift was inspired to take up the leggy workout after Victoria’s Secret beauty Jessica Hart last year dished on whether the “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer could pull off strutting the runway in her skivvies.

“I think, you know what, God bless her heart,” Hart said. “But I don’t know, to me, she didn’t fit. I don’t know if I should say that. ... What it takes to make it here comes from experience and confidence and knowing how to be confident with yourself. I think it comes with age. It’s definitely the benchmark of all jobs.”

Hart later apologized, saying she likes Swift and that her comments were “taken out of context.”

In between Model Fit workouts, Swift is now working on a new album. Her rep did not return request for comment.

Well there you have it.
