Demi Lovato's "Really Don't Care" music video debuted online Thursday, and it features a number of celebrity cameos. The most notable, however, comes from the singer's boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama! The pop star, 21, cozies up to the actor, 34, in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it scene in the LGBTQ-friendly clip.
Lovato worked with a number of organizations to make the video happen, including The Trevor Project. The video was shot at L.A.'s gay pride festival, where Lovato served as grand marshal and performed.
"When I originally wrote it, it was a breakup song," the pop performer told E! News Wednesday. "But now I have sung it so many times that it kind of no longer has a significance in that sort of way. When I sing it, I always want to inspire and empower. I thought what other people could relate to really not caring what people think. I thought of bullies and the LGBT community who are constantly scrutinized. What better place is there than L.A. Pride to celebrate who you are and not really caring what people think?"
Lovato, who kicks off her world tour on Sept. 6 in Baltimore, Md., will perform four songs this Sunday after New York City's gay pride parade. "I can't wait," she gushed. "I've never been to New York pride."
Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas Want To Start A Band
For those of you lucky enough to catch Nick Jonas onstage singing with Demi Lovato during her Neon Lights tour then you know that these two have some serious chemistry…musically speaking.
So much chemistry, in fact, that the two might have a side project up their sleeves.
“I did write an amazing song with Nick Jonas and we want to do something with that, but we are not quite sure, so maybe we can do a side project together,” Demi told MTV News this week. “We may or may not have picked out the band name already.”
While she wouldn’t give up the band name, she did continue when asked if we could expect a duet album, “I know he’s working on his new album too, so it might not be for awhile, but the two of us… I’m always writing songs and he’s always writing songs.”
Nick served as creative director to Demi’s Neon Lights Tour, and while she’s in the early stages of planning her Demi: The World Tour, she knows her former “Camp Rock” co-star will somehow be involved.
“I actually haven’t started the process, so possibly,” Demi said of working with Nick on tour. ” I know he’s busy doing a TV show now, but he’s gonna be involved somehow whether that’s performances or not. Inevitably we end up on the same team, musically. It just always happens.”
Mods I know there was a post with the video already but that hating ass OP didn't even use the official upload and that link was taken down + this has actual content to it
