Khloe Kardashian sparked outrage among her fans on Saturday evening when she posted a photo of herself wearing a Native American headdress on Instagram.
In the snap, the reality star can be seen perched on a colourful rug beside a miniature teepee with a giant feather headdress glimmering in the sunshine behind her.
Khloe sits with her eyes closed in the picture, which she captioned: "Ray of clouds. Chirping of birds. Gurgling of water. Granting desire. One with water.#Kidchella my first Coachella!!!"
Within seconds of posting the photo, Kim's sister was blasted by her fans.
"I'm Native American, some native tribes will take the head dress as an offense," (sic) wrote one user.
"Not cool. Or fashionable. How many people need to make this mistake before they GET it?!," wrote another.
Last month Happy hitmaker Pharrell sparked outrage by posing in a native American headdress on the cover of Elle.
He immediately issued an apology
“I respect and honor every kind of race, background and culture,” he said. “I am genuinely sorry."
