The Avengers' Big Three Reassembles while Mark Ruffalo answers fans about "ships"

As reported yesterday, filming for Avengers: Age of Ultron took over the University of East Anglia campus in Norwich, United Kingdom, where there were confirmed sightings of Chris Evans in his new Captain America uniform, Chris Hemsworth in his slightly altered Thor gear, and of course Robert Downey Jr. sans his Iron Man suit. While there were several other sightings (minor spoilers) reportedly on the set yesterday, UK photographer Sammy J Lee has shared with CBM new photos of the "big three" as they rehearsed a scene together with writer/director Joss Whedon, and in front of a group of "Avengers recruits" (whose uniforms sort of resemble Quicksilver's as seen in Italy). It's also worth noting that it was assumed yesterday the campus was doubling for Tony Stark's Avengers Tower in Manhattan, NYC, but considering the open space that's being utilized in other recent photos, it's safe say it will appear as another setting in Age of Ultron

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" will bring the Marvel Universe's biggest heroes together again to face one of their biggest villains, with "Marvel's The Avengers" director Joss Whedon returning to write and direct the sequel."Marvel's The Avengers" was released in 2012 and went on to earn $1.5 billion worldwide, making it the third-largest grossing movie of all time. "Avengers: Age of Ultron" arrives in theaters May 1, 2015.

As scenes from the new superhero blockbuster Avengers: Age of Ultron were filmed in Norwich, Robert Downey Jr - who plays Iron Man - took time to chat to a Norfolk toddler about his pyjamas.

Robert Downey Jr flew in by helicopter, while the campus was awash with apparent sightings of other stars, such as Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Chris Evans (Captain America).

Sarah Gray, who works at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, was lucky enough to meet Downey Jr, when his helicopter took off from near the hospital on Friday afternoon.

Mrs Gray, who lives at Blickling, said: “He was an absolute gent. He saw us standing, he could have gotten straight into the helicopter. Instead he came over and chatted.”

The Hollywood star shook hands with a little boy called Lewis Olsen, three, who was wearing pyjamas, and asked him about his attire.

Lewis’s dad Nick, from Dereham, said: “I’d just dropped my wife off for her night shift at the hospital and Lewis had wanted to see the helicopter.

“He didn’t know who he was meeting. When I got home I went on Google to show him that he’d just met Iron Man.”
