Speaking about his expedition into the Amazon, the dad-of-four said he was really rather frightened when he came across a totally terrifying and super scary...frog.
In an interview to promote his upcoming BBC documentary, the sportsman has opened up about facing up to all kinds of creepy crawlies.
"The frog I was scared of. I’m not a big frog fan. I can’t lie," the 39-year-old admitted.
"It was orange. We were told it was dangerous. I was a little bit nervous about that," Becks added.
Naw, poor Becksy-Wecksy.
But Goldenballs isn't the only celebrity with a strange phobia.
Here's some other a-listers and the things that keep them awake at night (and we don't just mean the fear of tripping over their bags of money).
Tyra Banks: Dolphins
She told People magazine: “I’ve been afraid of [them] since I was eight or nine. I have dreams that I am in a pool and there are dolphins bumping me and I’m frightened.”
Brilliant. Just briliant.
Megan Fox: Paper
“I just can’t stand it. Scripts, newspaper or anything that’s not laminated, I can’t touch it with my hands!”
We feel sorry for the minion responsible for laminating her scripts. Diva.
“I was walking down the promenade in Tenby eating [an ice cream], when this huge f***ing seagull came down and swiped it off me… I thought it was going to take me away with it,” the 21 hitmaker recalls.
Kind of understandable, seagulls can be vicious.
Kylie Minogue: Coat hangers
“I have a hanger phobia. I don’t like the way they sound when you put them in the wardrobe," she says.
Top tip Ky - employ someone to do it for you.
Johnny Depp: Clowns
He plays some of the creepiest on-screen characters ever invented.
But Johnny Depp is frightened of clowns.
"I have this fear of clowns. So I think that if I surround myself with them it will ward off all evil,” he said.
