With a growing boy at home January Jones could probably use a larger abode.
And the 36-year-old has certainly traded up with her brand new real estate buy as she's just splashed out on a lavish $1.7million house in a gated Los Angeles community. The Mad Men beauty's new home features a swimming pool and spa with even a zip-line in the backyard for some high wire thrills.
According to Trulia Luxe Living blog the star bought the home for $1.7million after putting her previous home on the market for just under $1.5million.
The house she lived in before was located in the hip and trendy Los Feliz neighbourhood in Los Angeles and was a classic home built in the 1920s. While the new home is barely 20 years old and is nestled in a gated community with state of the art amenities.
January's big buy boasts 3,300 square feet of living space - compare to her Los Feliz digs featuring only 2,200 square feet - with high ceilings and plenty of natural light. The backyard has not only the large swimming pool, ideal for laps, but a spa with automatic cover, a kitchen, fire pit, and a putting green.
If that were not enough there is even a 200 square foot studio that could serve as a playhouse for Xander, going on three-years-old, or a quiet place for January to practise her lines.
Inside the home there are four bedrooms and five bathrooms, making it ideal for accommodating guests. The kitchen has been completely remodeled with high end appliances and all quartz surfaces with an island and breakfast bar.
Meanwhile, January's AMC series Mad Men just aired it's mid-season finale, so the actress may have some free time to decorate her new home.
Cute house imo!
