#YesAllWomen: Lena Dunham Shares Harrowing Experience of Being Threatened By Boy

Tragedy struck on Friday when Elliot Rodger killed six people after writing a manifesto claiming he would seek revenge on the women who had rejected him.

As it has come to light that Rodger was an avid user of Men’s Rights forums, Twitter has since responded with powerful words for men who feel sexually entitled to women.

The hashtag #YesAllWomen was created and has been used as a platform for people to share their thoughts and experiences of misogyny and harassment.

The 28-year-old felt inspired after watching her sister’s graduation and shared: ‘Today of all days, I loved seeing my sister and her friends graduate and ask their university to do better for victims of sexual assault.’
