Latin music star Romeo Santos, known for hit singles like "Odio" and "Promise," is the latest addition to the cast of Fast & Furious 7.
Deadline reports that the 32-year-old singer was joined on stage at his sold-out Staples Center concert in Los Angeles by Vin Diesel, who revealed that Santos has an unspecified role in the upcoming action movie from Universal. Santos is joining a cast that includes Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, and the late Paul Walker.
Earlier this week, reports surfaced that Universal could make an insurance claim over Walker's untimely death at the tune of $50 million. Universal and director James Wan are apparently using a mix of CGI and Walker's brothers — Caleb and Cody — to "allow the character of Brian O’Conner to live on and let us celebrate Paul in his most defining role.”
Fast & Furious 7 is set to hit theaters April 10, 2015.
