Novak Djokovic keeps spreading the word about Balkan floods

Fernando Alonso captained an F1 team against a 'Star XI' in a charity football match in Monaco on Tuesday night.
The star-studded teams were playing in the Star Team for Children annual game, set up by Prince Albert II 20 years ago.
The reigning Monaco monarch was one of the names in action for the opposing team to the drivers, which also starred Novak Djokovic, Freddie Ljungberg and David Ginola.
Tennis player Djokovic scored the first goal for his team, who went on to win the game 3-2.
Meanwhile, Claudio Ranieri turned up to coach the players on the same day he was sacked as manager by stadium owners Monaco.
Leonardo Jardim is the favourite to succeed the Italian, who was gracious in his appearance at the Stade Louis II ground.
Felipe Massa posted pictures on his Instagram account at the event, while Toro Rosso man Daniel Kvyat scored ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix.

There are also photos of Real Madrid players with a sign about the floods. Bless. Also in their last game some fans had transparents of support.

i appreciate all of your posts. jamie oliver also had a post on instagram telling people to donate at red cross (speaking of, so many people on my facebook are posting that photoshopped justin timberlake photo, it's cracking me up).

how are things in serbia?
smolderhotter 22nd-May-2014 09:58 pm (UTC)
people on my facebook are posting the JT picture too thinking it's real poor souls....

Thank you, I am trying to raise awareness since Google flopped us and put a black ribbon on google.rs where only we can see it and not the rest of the world, like what's the point -.-

Things are getting worse since we're expecting more flooding...also people at help centers and arenas are getting sick and since the temperature is rising there is a greater chance of more diseases spreading...:/

That's terrible; I hope Serbia gets more awareness and help.

In my country again is enormous suffering. The words are comfort to them, but works to help them return to life. Turn is for us and our actions. STAY STRONG SLAVONIJO. See u soon! The one who is suffering is best understanding someone else suffering. Solidarity to neighbours in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. Stay strong!

Djoker is the man. And I'm picking him to win the French this year. I like Rafa but I think his time is past
xdecadentx 24th-May-2014 01:10 pm (UTC)
With RG I just think it's really hard to pick anyone but Nadal as a winner, even if he has been fucking up by his standards a lot this year.

I think this year is Novak's best shot though.
anna_karenina_x 24th-May-2014 09:20 pm (UTC)
I'm kinda 60 - 40 on Djoker or Nadal winning it. I would never rule out Nadal but he has just struggled so much this year, even on clay. Actually my first choice would be Fed, but that's a bit of a long shot, Djoker would probably have to take out Nadal in the semis first
xdecadentx 24th-May-2014 09:21 pm (UTC)
Roger's on Novak's side, so I think it's pretty much gonna be one or the other. Even if Roger can take out Novak, unless Stan takes out Rafa there's no chance.
anna_karenina_x 24th-May-2014 11:04 pm (UTC)
Oh good point. I was thinking Roger was ranked 5th but I guess he's 4 rn
xdecadentx 24th-May-2014 11:06 pm (UTC)
Nope managed to cling onto the no 4 ranking (i think there's very little between him and Ferrer atm but Ferrer is defending a lot at the French) so he's handed himself a better draw than he could have had.
anna_karenina_x 24th-May-2014 11:09 pm (UTC)
Yeah and he matches up better against Djoker than Nadal these days. He just has to hope somebody takes Nadal out, which could happen. But still a long shot for Fed to win it all
xdecadentx 24th-May-2014 11:17 pm (UTC)
I think stopping Novak will take a mammoth effort this year. I think (he thinks) this is his year. If he meets Nadal, it'll be in the final.
anna_karenina_x 24th-May-2014 11:15 pm (UTC)
Who are you picking on the women's side? Serena probably has it on lock unless she's hurt but I'd kinda like to see someone new for once, like Halep
xdecadentx 24th-May-2014 11:16 pm (UTC)
It's hard to pick against Serena, but I'd not count out Li.
