Hollywood superstar George Clooney is reportedly set to marry his fiancee Amal Alamuddin on September 12 this year.
Alamuddin is apparently poised to send out save the date cards warning friends and family that they will need to fly to Italy and then to Lebanon in September, reported Showbiz spy.
"September 12 is the date they are aiming for. Everyone thinks they will marry in Lake Como where George owns a beautiful home but Amal feels that is too public.
"They are looking to host a small wedding in an Italian village where they can control the photographers. But they haven't decided yet. They will then have big parties for her relatives in Lebanon and London," a source said.
Life is just rosy for Amal Alamuddin! George Clooney's fiancee took her long stems and gorgeous smile to a lunch with friends in London on Tuesday, May 20.
The human rights lawyer, 36, wore a cap-sleeve petal pink dress, featuring cinches at both sides of her tiny waist. Alamuddin left her long and sleek brunette tresses down, while shielding her eyes behind her go-to bug-eyed shades.
The future Mrs. Clooney paired her fun and flirty outfit with pink and purple pointed-toe flats and a large brown leather satchel. Since returning to work at Doughty Street Chambers last Thursday, May 15, Alamuddin has been showcasing her polished and pretty wardrobe while heading to and from the law firm's offices.
As exclusively reported by Us Weekly, Clooney, 53, and his fiancee of one month are planning to marry sooner than expected—this coming fall, in fact. "He'd marry her today if he could," one source told Us, "but he wants to give her a dream wedding."
Another insider said Clooney was not the only one anxious to speed up the nuptials. Alamuddin's "old-fashioned" parents "expect a short engagement," the source said.
Added the first source, "It is her first, and he wants it to be his last!"
