Are Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin having a "conscious recoupling"?

Despite the couple announcing their separation in March, the two were photographed leaving the Chateau Marmont after having a dinner date at the Hollywood hot spot on Saturday.

Their date seemed to be a casual outing, with Paltrow, 41, wearing a white jacket with her hair in a simple ponytail, while Martin, 37, wore a grey sweatshirt.

It's just the most recent instance that the celebrity spouses have been seen together in the wake of their split. Earlier this month, the stars were seen having dinner at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica. The two also kept up a united front when they traveled to the Bahamas with their children - Apple, 9, and Moses, 7 - just as news of their separation was made public via the actress' GOOP website.

In an April interview with BBC Radio 1, the Coldplay rocker discussed how his marital drama had partly inspired his band's new album, "Ghost Stories."

"I think in life everyone needs to be broken in some way," he said. "I think everyone in their life goes through challenges, whether it's love or money, kids or illness. You have to really not run away from that stuff."

Martin also implied that he was the cause of his and Paltrow's "uncoupling."

"You can be with someone wonderful, but because of your issues you can't let that be celebrated in the right way," the singer said.
