Come for the clones, stay for the eye candy.
Dylan Bruce, who is known oh-so-fondly to the fans as Hot Paul [No, Entertainment Weekly, no he isn't. He is known to the fans as Big Dick Paul], shares one of the steamiest scenes we have ever seen on cable television in this weekend's upcoming episode. Although you should be be looking forward to what will hereby be known as The Window Scene, fans will also get to see a much darker and menacing side of Paul Dierden.
Don't believe us? Take a look at our exclusive sneak peek above [it's not above. I can't get it to embed. Sorry.] to see Paul's terrifyingly aggressive encounter with Felix (Jordan Gavaris) for yourself. Warning: If you're not absolutely panicking with fear for Felix's life after watching this clip, you're not human.
For those of you keeping score at home, Paul, has already gotten hot and heavy with not one, but two clones, and in this week's episode fans can happily check a third off of the list. When we pointed out this bedroom fact to Bruce, his immediate response was priceless:
"I know, right? What a slut!"
Now that Rachel's previous monitor was slaughtered like a pig by Helena, it appears that the elite clone has an opening free — and she only has eyes for Paul.
"It's almost like 50 Shades of Rachel as her monitor," Bruce spilled. "So it's like Rachel is Christian Grey and I'm that other girl — whatever her name is. He's in between a rock and a hard place, so to maintain that relationship with her, he has to do what she wants him to do. It seems like Paul is almost like a femme fatale, he uses his assets to stay relevant."
And although you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn't think that Paul is, indeed, hot, Bruce is somewhat bashful of his fan-favorite title. "When I hear the name Hot Paul [again, not his actual nickname], I'm like, guys, if you had seen me in high school, you would not be calling me Hot Paul right now," Bruce modestly revealed.
"I had braces, I weighed about 130 pounds. I was in awkward stage for a while, I was a late bloomer. So it's very nice to be called Hot Paul; it really is, but at the same time it makes me feel very uncomfortable… but I actually appreciate it in a very weird, narcissistic kind of way."
And get excited, Clone Club, because Paul is turning into the master manipulator of the series. "You never know where this guy's loyalties lay. He's cold, he's calculated, but at the same time, I think you see a sliver of good in him — he's almost like the bad guy with the golden heart," he teased.
"But I'm telling you, by the time episode 10 rolls around, Paul will definitely have some tricks up his sleeve. He's not playing this game for his own amusement, he's doing it for a reason," Bruce promised. "This guy has his own agenda and he's part of a much bigger picture than what you see right now."
Orphan Black airs Saturday at 9 p.m. on BBC America.
