CSI: Cyber
Who’s in it? Patricia Arquette (Medium)
Who created it? Written and produced by CSI vets Carol Mendelsohn, Anthony E. Zuiker, and Ann Donahue. Jerry Bruckheimer and Jonathan Littman are executive producing.
What’s it about? Special agent Avery Ryan (Arquette) works to solve crimes as the head of the Cyber Crime Division of the FBI. The concept for the spinoff was integrated into an episode of the original CSI that aired in April. And the series marks Arquette’s post-Medium return to primetime.

NCIS: New Orleans
Who’s in it? Scott Bakula (Looking), Zoe McLellan (JAG), CCH Pounder (The Shield), Lucas Black, Paige Turco
Who created it? Gary Glasberg (NCIS), who will executive produce with Mark Harmon
What’s it about? It’s pretty much like NCIS, but this spinoff will instead follow the personnel at the New Orleans office, who handle cases across the lower southeast of the United States. It will delve into the NOLA scene, which attracts many military officers on leave. So… more cases, new scenery.

Stalker
Who’s it in? Maggie Q (Nikita), Dylan McDermott (Hostages), Marian Klaveno, Victor Rasuk
Who created it? Kevin Williamson (The Following)
What’s it about? This taut psychological thriller follows a detective duo with the Threat Management Unit of the LAPD tasked with investigating incidents of stalking. One can only hope that these stalkers don’t employ Edgar Allen Poe masks during their crimes. (Shudder.)

Scorpion
Who’s in it? Katharine McPhee (Smash), Elyes Gabel, Robert Patrick (The Unit), Eddie Kaye Thomas, Ari Stidham
Who created it? Nick Santora (Prison Break), who executive produces with Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Heather Kadin, Justin Lin, Scooter Braun, and Walter O’Brien (on whose life the show is based)
What’s it about? This drama centers on an unusual genius — who has the the fourth-highest documented IQ in the world — and the team of international super-brains that he assembles, each of whom are sworn to defend against complex and unexpected threats… and help each other feel a sense of belonging when their intellect sets them apart from society.

Madam Secretary
Who’s in it? Tea Leoni (Spanglish), Tim Daly (The Mindy Project), Bebe Neuwirth, Geoffrey Arenda, Patina Miller, Erich Bergen, Katherine Herzer
Who created it? Barbara Hall (Homeland), who executive produces with Morgan Freeman, Lori McCreary, and Tracy Mercer. David Semel directed the pilot.
What’s it about? Lean in: A female secretary of state must juggle office politics and personal duties as she is responsible for international diplomacy. No easy feat, particularly when the fate of the free world rests on your shoulders.

The McCarthys
Who’s in it? Jack McGee (Rescue Me), Joey McIntyre (The Heat), Jimmy Dunn, Tyler Ritter, Laurie Metcalf (Getting On), Kelen Coleman
Who created it? Brian Gallivan (Are You There, Chelsea?), who executive produces with Will Gluck. Mike Sikowitz (The Class) will serve as showrunner.
What’s it about? This multi-camera comedy centers around a loud, brash, and sports-crazed Irish-Catholic Boston family that lives together in a three-floor house… and the one member of the clan who dares to move out.

The Odd Couple
Who’s in it? Matthew Perry (Friends), Thomas Lennon (Reno 911), Lindsay Sloane, Sarah Baker (Go On), Wendell Pierce (The Michael J. Fox Show)
Who created it? Perry wrote the pilot script, based on Neil Simon’s classic Broadway play, and will executive produce with Joe Keenan (Frasier), Eric Tannenbaum, Kim Tannenbaum, Carl Beverly, and Sarah Timberman (Justified).
What’s it about? Perry steps into the role of messy bachelor Oscar Madison, who must learn to get along with his comically mismatched roommate, persnickety Felix Unger (Lennon). Hilarity undoubtedly ensues.

Battle Creek
Who’s in it? Josh Duhamel. And that’s all you need to know. (Amiright ladies?) But also: Dean Winters, Janet McTeer, Kal Penn, Edward Fordham Jr., and Aubrey Dollar.
Who made it? Creator Vince Gilligan (Breaking Bad), who executive produces with with Mark Johnson (Rectify) and showrunner David Shore (House)
What’s it about? This new detective series, which has actually been in development for a decade, is set in Battle Creek, Michigan, and follows Detective Russ Agnew (Winters) and FBI agent Milton Chamberlain (Duhamel), who patrol the quasi-mean streets of the town. Bryan Singer is also attached to direct and executive produce. So… yeah.
